These instruments combine the advances and versatility of modern Lutherie with the demands of a professional musician. Eliminating the chinrest clamp and fine tuners allows the instrument to resonate at it’s highest possible potential. These now unnecessary pieces of hardware may also damage the finish of the instrument. Eliminating this unnecessary hardware allows the instrument to resonate at it’s highest potential.

The clampless chinrest mounting system also allows the instrument to be suspended via elastic lanyard around the neck of the musician. This feature further protects the instrument and frees the hands to manage other tasks while performing.

Clean, exquisite woodwork is enhanced by the proprietary Damon Barr finish, hand-rubbed to a lustrous warm glow. The delicately inlaid wood purfling and harmonious curves show the master luthier’s hand while the skillful hand carving and graduating of top and back yield a tone of great richness and power. The finest flamed maple is used for the back while the top is of select, mountain spruce.
